Sturdy and practical

Assembly is very straightforward and the height adjustments are easy to make. The seat is suitably comfortable and the frame is sturdy.

One of the best units of this type

The first thing of note is that this toilet seat riser is rated at 400 lbs. While the elderly person in my house does not need that much support, it is nice to know that it is that solid. When I first looked into the box [see pics] and saw how many parts there were, I was afraid that it might be hard to assemble. But it was not hard. Assembly was straightforward and relatively simple. The unit allows for setting a width and height to fit the person and the toilet. Once assembled the unit has strength and stability. Wide rubber feet make it very stable. The foam covered arms [hand holds] are easy to grip. They also seem solid enough to last. It includes a toilet paper roll holder, and a Bag thing for anything like maybe a magazine or wet wipes or whatever. The whole thing is relatively easy to clean. The whole unit can be taken apart for storage or when moving or traveling. I think this is one of the best units of this type that I have seen.

Perfect for my hip surgery

I am having hip surgery in a few days: I needed some way to use the bathroom for the next 6 weeks so that my leg can not bend. This product is perfect. Put it together in 6 minutes. Was easy to do and the labeling made it easy to follow the instruction book. It’s sturdy and adjusts with ease. The anti slip feet make it so it doesn’t move on my flooring. It has a toilet paper holder, which I love so I don’t have to search for one when I can’t bend down. And a bag next to it for anything else needed by the toilet. I like this vs the ones on top of the toilet because I don’t have to remove my toilet seat to install like some, and it’s stable vs some other products out there. I would definitely recommend. I was nervous at first because it is light weight. This is more sturdy than the metal and plastic one insurance sent. I didn't know he would be getting one from them. That sucker is heavy! I move this one easily so I can use the toilet, and it is high enough for his tall body (6 foot) to get on and off with the walker. The seat seems fine, although I read others had issues with it. But he is going down gently onto it. Breaking a femur is not fun!

It really made gitting up off the toilet easier!
